Student Opportunities

Community Living & Respite Services is committed to providing meaningful learning and development opportunities for those interested in pursuing a career in the disability sector.

Placement is available for  school based students including Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL) and work experience, and education provider students studying community services, disability, social work and similar fields of study.

Many of our students go on to have successful careers with CLRS in various roles.

Suitable students will be required to complete an interview and where successful placed according to operational and placement requirements. Please note due to capacity we are unable to place all students however will do our very best to assist.

Student Requirements

• NDIS Worker Screening check is required for anyone over the age of 18. For more information see https://www.vic.gov.au/ndis-worker-screening-check
• Working for Children check is required for anyone over the age of 18. For more information see https://service.vic.gov.au/services/working-with-children
• Three doses of the COVID-19 vaccine (or have an exemption)
• NDIS Worker Orientation Certificate https://training.ndiscommission.gov.au/course/index.php?categoryid=2
