Our Events

We are a trusted and long-standing provider of disability support services.

With over 40 years of experience, CLRS is deeply committed to empowering people with disability to live independently and participate fully in their communities.

One of the key ways CLRS advances its mission is through a series of impactful fundraising events that support its innovative initiatives, notably, the Opening Doors Project.

CLRS hosts two major, community driven, fundraising events throughout the year. These are our Annual Fundraising Dinner, with the 18th Dinner being held on Thursday 5th March 2026, and Run Echuca Moama, held on the first Sunday in August.

We are also proud to be the Community Partner of Riverboats Music Festival, which takes place in February each year.

These events invite participants to help raise vital funds.

Annual Fundraising Dinner

Since 2007, our Annual Fundraising Dinner at Moama Bowling Club has been a highlight on the community calendar, bringing people together for a night of celebration, generosity, and impact.

Each year, around 250 guests join us for an unforgettable evening filled with entertainment, auctions, raffles, and heartfelt stories.

The event raises vital funds for our Opening Doors Project, which creates purpose-built homes for people with disability in our region.

Run Echuca Moama

Run Echuca Moama is a 21.1km, 10km and 5km run, walk or wheel (mobility aids only) event.

The unique and beautiful course weaves its way across the old bridge and new bridge covering both states Victoria and NSW.

Registrations for Run Echuca Moama open in May! Each participant receives a finisher medal at the finish line.

Riverboats Music Festival

We are proud to be the community partner of a high-profile, well-loved event that draws thousands of attendees each year.

Since 2015, the team behind Riverboats Music Festival has donated over $32,000 to us, directly supporting initiatives like the Opening Doors Project, which builds homes for people with disability, and our Recyclability Social Enterprise.

In addition to our fundraising events, we engage with community through

    • Social enterprises like the Murray River Tea Rooms and Recyclability, which offer skill-building and employment opportunities.
    • Our Club Teen school holiday programs and volunteering opportunities that encourage broader community involvement.
    • Sponsorships and partnerships with local businesses and organisations to amplify impact
