CLRS social and activity groups offer a fun and supportive way to get involved in the community, make new friends, try new things and build confidence.
Our activities offer support at a ratio of one staff to one person (1:1) or one staff to two people (1:2), with limited groups offering the support of one staff to three people (1:3).
Our activities provide exciting opportunities for you to learn new skills, explore new places, develop and enjoy social connections.
Our activities run Monday to Saturday. We do not close during school holidays, so there’s always something happening! We cater to peoples interests such as cooking, fitness, reading and getting out and about in our local community. There is a group or activity to suit a variety of interests.
This activity is all about building a healthy lifestyle. You will learn to cook healthy food and participate in health and fitness activities. The activities take place every Monday and Wednesday. In this activity you can be supported at a ratio of one staff to one person (1:1) or one staff to two people (1:2)
This activity is all about pamphlets, rolling them and then distributing them to our local community. If you enjoy doing a task that involves your hands and getting out in our community this is the activity for you. Every Thursday the pamphlets arrive and get sorted and delivered. In this activity you can be supported at a ratio of one staff to one person (1:1) or one staff to two people (1:2)
This activity is all about getting out into our local community and surrounding region. Get out and experience all the region has to offer, from visiting donkey farms to the Art Gallery in Bendigo and everything in between. Why not get out & about every Friday! In this activity you can be supported at a ratio of one staff to one person (1:1) or one staff to two people (1:2)
On the 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month a group of people gather and head out for a day of socialising and fun. This is a great way of experiencing the region with a lovely group of people. In this activity you can be supported at a ratio of one staff to three people (1:3).
All activities are designed to help build your independence, confidence and enjoyment of life. These activities can be accessed using NDIS funding, and some activities may have small out-of-pocket costs.
We encourage you to try something new, meet new people, in a safe and inclusive environment.
