Community Living & Respite Services is a not-for-profit, community-based organisation committed to empowering people with disability to live the life they choose.
Because of our generous supporters, we have been able to create additional opportunities for the people we support to live the life they choose.
This includes the 22 people who now live in the homes created through one of our five Opening Doors Projects, the more than 50 people who participate in our social enterprises and the more than 250 people we deliver direct support to.
We greatly value your commitment to helping people with disability live the life they choose, and your future generous donations will go towards:
See what can be achieved when a community comes together to build homes for people with disability.
This video tells the powerful story of how the Opening Doors Projects have changed and continue to change people’s lives. We hear from the people who live in our Opening Doors Projects and their families about how the project has enabled their lives to be as independent as possible.
Recyclability is a Social Enterprise with excellent social and environmental outcomes. Volunteers of all abilities are making an important contribution to our local community. Recyclability is recognised by the NDIS as a valued learning opportunity for people with disability and is an inclusive and supportive environment to learn a range of skills.
Community philanthropy and corporate support has assisted the establishment of the Murray River Tea Rooms. The Tea Rooms are a social enterprise that promotes inclusion and provides opportunities for people with disability to gain new skills in a supportive environment. Many local businesses, cafes and community members provide support that assists to sustain this important community initiative.
