Team Leader – Defined Programs Social Enterprises (Disability)

About the Role

CLRS is currently seeking to appoint a Team Leader to manage/oversee the daily operations of the two CLRS Social Enterprises, Recyclability and the Murray River Tea Rooms.

The Team Leader – Defined Programs, a newly created role, involves working directly with clients accessing group based community activities at the CLRS social enterprises. The position involves training, mentoring, supporting and motivating Clients, Direct Support Professionals and volunteers to provide consistent high quality customer service in all aspects of the delivery of Recyclability and Murray River Tea Rooms.

The position requires the skills of a proficient, organised and self-motivated professional with excellent interpersonal, disability, and hospitality skills. A consultative approach and the ability to assess complex issues and identify solutions is essential.

The role requires the Program Leader to ensure the delivery of support is aligned with and focused on individual client goals and their National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) plans.

About You

Ideally, you will have a background in managing a cafe / or retail and experience in leading and working effectively as part of a team including to guide, direct, motivate and develop people towards safe, quality and person centred outcomes.

You will have a demonstrated passion and commitment to enable positive outcomes for people with disability. Knowledge and understanding of the NDIS system and NDIS Practice standards in relation to the requirement of core support and capacity building programs will be required.

You will have effective organisational skills and time management including a high level of verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
